Watermelon Card Supplies:
* Green Craft Paint
* Pink Craft Paint
* Black Craft Paint
* Foam Paint Brush
* Small Paint Brush
* Small Paper Plate
* Baby Wipes
* White Cardstock
* Your Choice of Color Cardstock
* Basic Paper Craft Scissors

Directions:
* First squirt a small amount of pink craft paint on a paper plate.
* Pick a hand – any hand!
* Paint the palm of your child’s hands and press it down in the center of a piece of white cardstock.
* Gently lift up their hand and use the baby wipes to remove excess paint from it {and a quick trip to the sink!}
* Next up – grab your green paint and make a “rind” along the palm of the pink handprint.
* Follow that up by adding some black dots to the center of the handprint for the watermelon “seeds.”
* When done decorating the handprint, set the paper aside to let it dry completely.
* Once dry, grab your scissors and trim out the newly made watermelon design on the white paper, to fit on a cardstock card front.
* Go ahead and glue it down with your glue stick.
* To finish off the Handprint Watermelon Cards – add scrapbook stickers or write out with a Sharpie marker to say “Happy Summer” or any other sentiment you have in mind, on the front of the card.
* Then add other embellishments you see fit before gifting away proudly!
