Recently I was asked to participate in “Craft Lightning Week” with Angie from the Country Chic Cottage and Caroline from 30 Minutes Crafts. Of course I was flattered {more like honored} and instantly said yes!!!
Today is the LAST day of the challenge and all week long my new bloggy friends Angie, Caroline and I {along with some other crafty friends from around the web} have been sharing 15 minute or less Busy Bag Ideas that ANYONE can pull together on the fly {have you seen them all on my blog?}
So without further ado – here is today’s final post for Craft Lightning Week on the blog. I present to you my Simple Color Match Spool Game that is just that – SIMPLE to pull together AND for kids to play with!
Be sure to check out the full busy bag match game tutorial below and scroll all the way to the bottom of this post for even MORE simple busy bag ideas!!!
Happy crafting my friends! Don’t forget to share pictures with us of your completed color match busy bag, on our Facebook page or tag us on Instagram to see! #gluedtomycrafts
Color Match Game Craft Supplies:
* Small Wooden Craft Spools {affiliate link}
* Goody Associated Color Hair Ties {affiliate link}
* Various Colors of Craft Paint
* Paint Brushes
Directions:
* First decide what paint colors you will need to match your hair ties and how many spools you want to paint {one hair tie per wooden spool} Pair them off and make sure you have enough.
* Now paint your wooden craft spools your desired colors. Set aside to let them dry completely.
* Once completely dry, place everything in a zip-lock bag and when it’s time to play, have children match/tie their hair tie around each matching spool. Great way to work on matching skills AND those fine motor skills at the same time!
