Chocolate Pudding Snack Idea For Thanksgiving
Hi friends! If you haven’t noticed – I absolutely LOVE making quick desserts with pre-packaged pudding packs from the grocery store. These types of desserts are super easy to assemble on the fly AND the cleanup afterwards is just as easy as the making {since it’s just eat and toss!}
So today I’m adding another idea to the blog archives and these are titled Semi-Homemade Turkey Pudding Snacks. They are perfect for any Thanksgiving celebrations {primarily in the classroom!} and really inexpensive for a large crowd. Not to mention – the kids can help with the making and it’s super delicious too!
With just some store-bought chocolate pudding cups, Milano cookies and a handful of rainbow colored gummy fish for the turkey’s feathers – you too can pull this together in no time! So whether you make them for your own family as a sweet treat on Thanksgiving or for a large classroom group activity, I hope this turkey inspired pudding snack idea inspires you!
Just keep scrolling to learn how I pulled it all together in a flash! Then when you recreate them yourself, be sure to snap few pictures to share with us afterwards! You can find us on Facebook and Instagram for easy tagging. I seriously can’t wait to hear all about how your guests GOBBLED them up! Happy crafting, my dear friends! #gluedtomycrafts

Directions:
- First you will want to assemble your turkey cookies. Pull out one cookie per pudding cup.
- Next, using your gel frosting, attach the candy eyes and draw on the turkey’s face on each cookie.
- When done decorating, set aside the turkey cookies on a cookie sheet to let those dry/set {I suggest putting them in the fridge for at least an hour to allow the gel/frosting to harden}
- Once you are ready to assemble your pudding cup treats, open all the pudding cups you will be making/serving today.
- To finish the Turkey Pudding Snacks, carefully place three Swedish Fish {feathers} into the pudding cup, leaving about half of each uncovered, along with your finished turkey cookie.
- Serve immediately or store in fridge until serving time.

If making these desserts seems daunting or you just need something that is little bit less messier & easier to transport to an event, may I suggest you still use pudding cups but decorate the outside of them with a handprint cutout {turkey feathers} and embellishments instead?!
This way you STILL have a sweet treat to share AND it still has a clever turkey themed appearance for the big Thanksgiving day!
Either which way – I hope you were inspired by our semi-homemade turkey pudding cup tutorial!
