This post is actually an inspiration from one of my good blog friends, Laura Kelly. She shared a Painted Rock Idea last year on her own blog and I LOVED it so much {seriously – I’ve held onto this idea for a year} I decided to give it my own spin!
So without further ado – here is our simple Jack-O-Lantern Rock Painting craft that even the babies of the family can help create! The supplies are really inexpensive {especially if you hit up your local Dollar Tree or raid your own backyard for the rocks} and the rules are simple. Just let them paint!
Then once done – hide your child’s finished pieces in your own backyard for a nice surprise to passing guests OR spread them around town to spread some Halloween cheer! Whatever you do – I sure hope you have fun creating them with your child today!
Happy crafting my friends! #gluedtomycrafts
Jack-O-Lantern Painted Rocks Supplies:
* Rocks – any size, shape, store bought or even ones found in your own backyard!
* Orange Acrylic Craft Paint
* Paint Brushes
* Black Puffy Paint
* Paper Plate
Directions:
* First place your rocks on a paper plate.
* Now have children paint the front of their rocks completely orange.
* When they are done with that step, have them paint a simple jack-o-lantern face on top of the rock, with the black puffy paint.
* Repeat for each rock.
* Then set aside to let it dry completely.
* Once dry – scatter in your own front yard OR leave them in random places in town to spread some Halloween smiles!
* Don’t forget to share some pictures with us on your social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts
