Hi friends!!! Did you know that you could be make anything {and I mean ANYTHING} out a of a basic popsicle stick frame??? Yup – and I’m here to vouch for that statement by sharing our simple Popsicle Stick Fruit Kid Craft tutorial with you all today!
Not only did we recently make some fun fruit shapes out of some basic & inexpensive popsicle sticks BUT it was also a great learning exercise for my son since we identified various colors & features that made each fruit UNIQUE!
So enough of the boring “fluff” and useless big words with lengthy descriptions – let’s get straight to the fun by diving into this EASY tutorial for Popsicle Stick Fruits. I just hope my post inspires and sparks tons of “fruity” craft time with you & your child today!

Popsicle Stick Fruit Craft Supplies:
* Popsicle Sticks {regular & mini size}
* SchoolGlue
* Various Colors of Craft Paint
* Paint Brushes
* Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
* Colored Cardstock
* Pen
Directions:
* First assemble the base of your fruit. Although we did several different fruits – they all had the same basic frame. For each, simply glue your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence. Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Next have your child paint the front of the popsicle stick fences for their desired fruit.
- Strawberry – Red w/black dots
- Blueberry – Blue
- Orange – Orange
- Pineapple – Yellow w/black dots
- Apple – Red or Green
* Now cut out the cardstock embellishments to give your pieces life.
- Strawberry – Some small green leaves
- Blueberry – Brown cardstock for the stem
- Orange – Brown stem and green leaf
- Pineapple – Trace your child’s hand on green cardstock for the pineapple top
- Apple – Brown stem and green leaf
* To finish off the Popsicle Stick Fruit craft, glue on the paper embellishments and let it all dry completely, before displaying proudly by either hanging them or adding magnets to the back!
