Two things I absolutely love – handmade cards and washi tape {you can’t go wrong with either!}
And since I’m all about sending handmade cards out for every occasion, today I wanted to share with you all how simple these DIY Washi Tape Flag Cards are to make on the fly, as well as on a very small, tight budget!!!
This cardmaking craft is super easy {even for the novice} and doesn’t require special tools or supplies.
In fact –all you need to do is tear some washi tape off the roll and place it on a {shocker} pre-made store bought card, in a flag design.
Super simple and the perfect excuse to send some patriotic #happymail this upcoming 4th of July holiday! #gluedtomycrafts

Washi Tape Flag Card Supplies:
* Red/White/Blue Washi Tape
* Pre-made Cards
* optional – star stickers, glitter glue
Directions:
* To create your flag design, first tear off strips of red/white washi tape {all the same size} and place them down in a rectangular/flag design on the card front {alternating in color – red, white, red, white}
* Now tear off a smaller amount of blue washi tape and place it in the top left corner to finish the look of the flag.
* Add other embellishments you see fit {like star stickers/glitter glue etc} or leave as is.
* Then write a sweet message inside and mail to the lucky receiver!
Super simple, right? And of course you can take this idea beyond cards and use it for gift tags, scrapbooking and even place card holders for your festive celebrations. The possibilities are endless and I sure hope I inspired you!
