Painted Flag Craft Supplies:
* Large Paper Plate {one per flag craft}
* Red Craft Paint
* White Craft Paint
* Washi Tape or Painter’s Tape
* Dark Blue Colored Cardstock Paper
* Foam Paint Brush
* Hand Held Stapler
* Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
Directions:
* First tape off your paper plate with the washi tape. Your lines don’t have to be perfect but you will want each section to be about the same thickness.
* Now squirt some RED craft paint in the center of the paper plate.
* Have children move the paint around and completely cover the plate.
* Once done, quickly remove the washi tape stripes {some paper plate might come up with it but that’s alright}
* To finish off the Paper Plate Flag, cut out a small rectangle from the blue cardstock, add some “stars” with the white craft paint and then staple it onto the paper plate to complete the flag design.
* Then display proudly! Don’t forget to share pictures with us when you are done! #gluedtomycrafts
