YAY for arts and craft time that boys {and girls} can love and enjoy!!! My little family is pretty big on Lego themed stuff, so to say I’m a little bit excited for today’s crafty post, would be a major understatement. If only you could hear my girly giggles right now… {or perhaps you rather not – I wouldn’t blame you!}
Not only is today’s Paper Plate Lego Bunny Guy {Kid Craft} tons of fun and super easy for children of all ages – but it’s also goes along PERFECTLY with the Easter themed book Lego City : Follow That Easter Egg! by Trey King.
Crooks Barry and Larry want to get rich fast. So when they find out two rookie cops are delivering a priceless golden egg to a new museum, they hatch a plan to steal it. Will they get away with the gold, or will their plans be foiled by the Easter festival in the park?
So what are you waiting for? Beat those boredom blues this spring season by grabbing those craft supplies {and the fun Lego book} and getting to work ASAP, by checking out the full paper plate lego bunny tutorial below!
Happy crafting {and reading} my friends! Don’t forget to share pictures of your Lego bunny guy made from a paper plate on our Facebook page when you are done! I can’t wait to see how AWESOME he turns out!

Paper Plate Lego Bunny Craft Supplies:
* Large Paper Plates {one per lego bunny craft}
* Yellow Tissue Paper
* White Cardstock
* Pink Colored Cardstock
* Black Colored Cardstock
* School Glue
* Kid Friendly Scissors
* Hand-Held Office Stapler
Directions:
* First cut two small side pieces from the paper plate, to give the look of the Lego guy’s head.
* Next have your children cut the yellow tissue paper into small squares {great way to practice those scissor skills}
* Now take your paper plate and put a good amount of glue in the center of the plate, leaving some white on the outside rim. Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the center is completely covered.
* While they are working on that, cut out the bunny ears, as well as the Lego guy’s facial features.
* To finish off the Lego Bunny Guy craft – have children glue/staple on the cardstock pieces in the designated spots. Then display proudly!
