We have been on a roll lately with sharing kid craft ideas on Glued To My Crafts, that go along with our favorite children’s books.
My son and I have been really enjoying creating {and sharing} these ideas with you all. I sure hope they have been inspiring some craftiness in you and your child, as well as some creative play & reading time afterwards!
Splat the Cat by Rob Scotton is another favorite children’s book series of ours. My personal favorite from it, is Splat the Cat Blow, Snow, Blow.
When I first picked it up at Barnes & Noble, I instantly thought of all the snow days we get in Wyoming during the winter. Although I’m not as anxious as Splat to see snow and play in it – I do enjoy reading the book a time or two!
So what are you waiting for? The full instructions for our Paper Plate Splat The Cat {Kid Craft} can be found below. Don’t forget to read the book in combination with the craft.
