Paddington Bear Craft Made From A Paper Plate
Do you by chance follow us on Instagram? If you do – you may have noticed that I took my lil man on a mommy & me date yesterday to see the movie Paddington {which is super cute, by the way!} So in true fashion and no surprise, we recently did a kid friendly craft in honor of the beloved childhood book & now movie.
This Paper Plate Paddington craft idea is SUPER easy, fun for all ages and really inexpensive to pull together {just how we like it around here!} You can find the full step-by-step tutorial below, as well as some links to other kid friendly crafts that go along with our favorite children’s books.
So don’t delay – pull out those supplies and get to work! Then watch the movie and/ or read the children’s book in honor and make a whole afternoon out of it!

Paddington Craft Supplies:
* Large Paper Plate {one per Paddington bear craft}
* Tan Tissue Paper
* School Glue
* Kid Friendly Scissors
* Hand-Held Office Stapler
* Black Marker
* Tan Colored Cardstock
* Red Colored Cardstock
optional materials for your Paddington paper plate craft – torn brown construction paper instead of the tissue paper for his fur
Directions:
* First cut your tan tissue paper into small squares {let the kids practice their cutting skills}
* Next put a good amount of glue all over the paper plate.
* Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
* While they are working on that, cut out Paddington’s facial features out of your cardstock. Don’t forget the iconic hat!
* To finish off the adorable paper plate bear kid craft – glue/staple on the cardstock pieces, and draw some eyes on with a black marker.
* Then display proudly for all to see!

Paper Plate Paddington Bear
Supplies:
Instructions:
- First cut your tan tissue paper into small squares {let the kids practice their cutting skills}
- Next put a good amount of glue all over the paper plate.
- Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
- While they are working on that, cut out Paddington's facial features out of your cardstock. Don't forget the iconic hat!
