
Paper Plate Valentine Lollipop
Hi my crafty readers! Valentine’s Day is literally around the corner {seriously – don’t blink!} and I’m hoping to encourage you with our latest craft tutorial, centered around a sweet treat that might make it in your hands this lovestruck season!
If you are still looking for some crafty activities to keep the kids busy – look no further! This Paper Plate Lollipop {Kid Craft} is pretty easy to put together, great for all ages and really inexpensive too.
Best part of all? It’s totally customizable from the tissue paper color to adding embellishments like rhinestones & glitter. These lollipops can be just as sweet as the real thing but not as sticky on your hands!

PAIR YOUR PAPER PLATE VALENTINE LOLLIPOP WITH —> Popsicle Stick Hearts – Kid Craft
Valentine Lollipop Craft Supplies:
* Large or Small Paper Plate – one per lollipop craft
* Any Colored Tissue Paper
* Colorful Loose Craft Glitter
* Black Glitter Glue
* Brown Cardstock or Construction Paper
* Basic Craft Scissors
* School Glue
* Hand-Held Office Stapler
optional materials – craft yarn, rhinestones, stickers etc
Directions:
* First cut {or tear} your tissue paper into small squares.
* Put a good amount of glue all over the paper plate. Let children place the tissue paper squares on top, until it’s completely covered.
* While they are working on that, cut out the stick of the lollipop from your cardstock.
* Once the paper plate is completely covered, take the black glitter glue and “paint” a circular design just like you would see in a lollipop.
* Sprinkle loose craft glitter on top of the black glue line {you can also use string for this part instead!}
* To finish off the Paper Plate Lollipop kid craft, staple on the cardstock piece to the paper plate. Add other embellishments if you like.
* Then display proudly for all to see!

Paper Plate Valentine Lollipop
Supplies:
- Large or Small Paper Plate {one per lollipop craft}
- Any Colored Tissue Paper
- Colorful Loose Craft Glitter
- Black Glitter Glue
- Brown Cardstock or Construction Paper
- Basic Craft Scissors
- School Glue
- Hand-Held Office Stapler
- optional materials - craft yarn, rhinestones, stickers etc
Instructions:
- First cut {or tear} your tissue paper into small squares.
- Put a good amount of glue all over the paper plate. Let children place the tissue paper squares on top, until it’s completely covered.
- While they are working on that, cut out the stick of the lollipop from your cardstock.
- Once the paper plate is completely covered, take the black glitter glue and "paint" a circular design just like you would see in a lollipop.
- Sprinkle loose craft glitter on top of the black glue line {you can also use string for this part instead!}
- To finish off the Paper Plate Lollipop kid craft, staple on the cardstock piece to the paper plate. Add other embellishments if you like.
- Then display proudly for all to see!
