Paper Plate Cookie – Kid Craft Idea For Story Time!
Lately I have been really enjoying planning and creating our kid crafts around my son’s favorite books.
My son and I usually do our kid friendly crafts early in the morning and read the accompanying book right afterwards to celebrate. It’s been pretty fun {my son seems to enjoy it} and I just love how beautiful my fridge is looking, with all our crafty creations. So on that note – expect lots of kid crafts in the future, planned around some kid books. Especially Dr Seuss ones! YAY!
Recently we made this Paper Plate Cookie Kid Craft in honor of the book The Duckling Gets A Cookie?! by Mo Williams. If you haven’t seen/read the series yet – you should! {I also really enjoy the Elephant & Piggie book series he writes too}
So just like ALL our kid friendly craft tutorials – this paper plate craft tutorial is super easy, fun and really inexpensive too! Best part – this cookie isn’t “crumby” and is calorie/mess free!
So don’t wait my dear crafty friends!!! Be sure to grab your supplies and follow our step-by-step tutorial listed below.
Happy crafting, my friends! Don’t forget to share pictures of your child’s finished tissue paper and paper plate cookie creations, on our Facebook page wall so we can admire their hard work from a far! I can’t wait to see their delicious pieces! #gluedtomycrafts
