Paper Plate Happy Birthday Mouse Craft
With my son’s upcoming birthday knocking at our doorsteps {yikes! I will have a four year old soon!} we recently created this awesome and super adorable Paper Plate Birthday Mouse {Kid Craft} that goes along PERFECTLY with the book Happy Birthday, Mouse! by Laura Numeroff & Felicia Bond.
Join Mouse from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie as he celebrates his birthday with the perfect treat!
In this book, Mouse tries to decide which delicious treat he should eat on his birthday—and all the fun foods from the hardcover picture books are featured! This birthday-themed book will make a great gift for young readers.
Not only is this kid friendly paper plate mouse craft super simple and fun for all ages – but it’s also really inexpensive when it comes to the supplies. All you need is a large paper plate, some tissue paper, cardstock and tons of glue to make it come to life in front of your eyes!
So what are you waiting for? Find my easy step-by-step tutorial below, as well as links to other kid crafts that go together with some of our favorite books.
Happy crafting, my friends!!! Don’t forget to share pictures of your tissue paper and paper plate birthday mouse with us on our Facebook page to admire! #gluedtomycrafts
