Cotton Ball & Popsicle Stick Santa – Christmas Kid Craft Idea
HO HO HO! Hi friends! Did you catch our latest Paper Plate Santa Kid Craft yesterday that went live on Glued To My Crafts?
Well – continuing on with the holiday theme of that big jolly guy, today I’m sharing this Popsicle Stick Santa Kid Craft with you all.
Using inexpensive supplies, this craft is a budget friendly way to create a festive & unique Christmas piece that can easily double as an ornament too. It’s super fun for kids of all ages {and adults} and is perfect to beat the winter boredom blues!

Popsicle Stick Santa Craft Supplies:
* Popsicle Sticks {9 total per Santa craft}
* Skin Toned Paint
* Foam Paint Brush
* School Glue
* Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
* White Cotton Balls {a good handful per Santa craft}
* Red & White Cardstock or Construction Paper
* Small Circle Punch
Directions:
* First assemble the base of your Santa. Glue NINE jumbo popsicle sticks together to look like a fence.
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Now punch/and or cut out the facial embellishments for Santa, from the sheets of cardstock paper. Think eyes, nose and hat.
* To finish off the craft, glue on the Santa paper embellishments to the front of the popsicle stick shape.
* Follow that up by gluing on a line of cotton balls near the bottom, to represent his beard and a line on the top for his hat.
* Then let it all dry completely, before displaying proudly.
* If you like, add some ribbon to the back of your craft stick Santa, so you can easily turn it into an ornament for the tree.
