Choose a Bee Well Gift Basket to show your care and compassion this winter season! Personalize it for your sick friend and let them know you value them.
The Perfect Gift for Someone Feeling ‘Crumby’
‘Tis the season of spreading germs! You my friend, are making a REALLY good decision by landing on today’s Bee Well Gift Basket Idea!
I would put money on it – either you or someone you know, has already been sick this winter season. We all know it’s pretty inevitable this time of year, so you just have to roll with the punches as it works it’s way through your system. Although it’s not fun and we feel pretty crumby when we don’t feel well – there are several things that can turn that frown upside down and make someone’s day brighter.
For me – the type of things that make me smile when I’m sick are simple gestures. I’m not saying treat me like royalty and get me lavish gifts {although if you did I would greatly appreciate it} BUT a nice card and/or some simple items can pretty much make my day.
Recently I had a new mommy friend who was feeling pretty under the weather and I really wanted to cheer her up. So I gathered some things I personally love into a gift basket and brought them to her doorstep. I could instantly see that she loved & appreciated it. It was like a gift of sunshine – as she put it.

EXAMPLES OF ITEMS TO INCLUDED:
The types of things I included in my BEE WELL gift basket were things I typically enjoy when I’m not feeling my best. All these items were centered around the “bee well” theme. These things help with my stuffy nose, sore throat and just over all – give me that good girly feeling back.
- New Ceramic Mug
- Kleenex Tissues {for the runny noses}
- Seasonal Tea
- Honeycomb or Honey Bottle {for those sore throats}
- Chapstick or Lip Balm
- Face Mask {for the good girly feeling}
- Hand Sanitizer {to stop the germs in their tracks}
- Bath Salts and Bath Bombs
You can of course customize your bee well gift basket any way you like to fit their needs/favorites, but here are few more ideas of items to include : magazines, books, hand soaps, lotion, cough drops, favorite candy, snacks, homemade food, movies, heating pads, soup packets, broth, crackers, ice cream
If the receiver is a mom – it’s also great to include things that will entertain the kids, while mommy gets better. Think coloring books, games, toys, movies etc. Anything the kids can do on their own, while the sick “patient” relaxes.
Add a Wooden Spoon Bee Puppet into the gift basket for something for the little one!
THE FREE CARD PRINTABLE:
As an added bonus in my honey themed gift basket, I made and included a handmade card with a personal message. I thought that was a nice special touch that really got the point across. After all – I wanted her to “bee” well.
And since I love YOU guys so much and I want you to spread some cheer this cold winter season – I’m offering the printable that I used for my card, for you guys to grab for FREE.
