PLEASE ALWAYS supervise children while making/playing with this Celebration Gak mixture. This mixture is NOT edible!!!
If you are scrambling to find something to keep the kids busy New Year’s Eve – look no further! This sensory fun Celebration Gak is super easy to pull together and is just plain ‘ole FUN. My son absolutely LOVED making it with me recently and of course – the end result too! It’s kinda like play dough or slime but has a different texture and even a little bounce to it.
It’s got the sparkle and shine for a fun, festive night AND it’s cheap. You probably already have the supplies hiding in your home right now, which makes it even better. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of your time – YOU too can pull it together. See your child’s face light up in excitement and more importantly – keep them busy throughout the night!

Celebration Gak Craft Supplies:
* 1 teaspoon Borax {found in Laundry Aisle}
* 1 cup Warm Water
* 1 Bottle of School Glue {clear or white}
* Colorful Glitter & Sequins
optional – food coloring to change up the color
Directions:
* Mix your 1 teaspoon of Borax with 1 cup of warm water. Set aside.
* Pour your glue into a large mixing bowl. Fill your empty glue bottle with water and pour the water into the bowl.
* Next pour in your Borax/water mixture and glitter/sequins {about a teaspoon of each.} Mix well until it starts to clump. Once you can’t stir it anymore, grab the mixture with your hands and knead it until smooth.
* While doing this, you may have excess water that won’t absorb into the gak mixture. That’s OK. Just dump the excess water and continue on.
* When done playing, store finished Celebration Gak in an air tight container.
This Celebration Gak recipe is really fun and like I mentioned – super easy! You can also change out the color of your glitter and/or add food coloring to fit your needs/holiday. I just thought gold & silver sequins were PERFECT for New Year’s Eve.
