Hey friends! I’m super excited that you’re here for today’s Corn On The Cob paper craft idea for fall!

With the kids out of school and the “I’m bored” whines starting, what better way to keep them busy than with some crafts? At least, in my opinion!

This un-popped Paper and Kernel Corn Cob tutorial is super simple and affordable too. You’ll only need a few supplies and it won’t break the bank! It’s perfect for kids of all ages and can be used as fun decorations. Ready to get started on this “poppin” kid craft? Let’s gather our supplies and get to work!

Corn On The Cob {Kid Craft}

Looking for a fun craft idea to do with your kids? Check out this easy-to-follow popcorn kernel corn on the cob craft! Perfect for encouraging creativity and imagination.

Craft Supplies:

  • Yellow Cardstock Paper
  • Green Cardstock Paper
  • Un-Popped Popcorn Kernels {please supervise children!}
  • Basic Paper Scissors
  • School Glue

Directions:

  • First draw/cut out your ear of corn out of cardstock. Yellow for the center and green for the two outer leaves.
  • Next glue those three pieces together to form the corn on the cob.
  • Now put a good layer of glue all over the yellow cardstock piece. Have your child lay the popcorn kernels on top of the glue, until it’s completely covered.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Before displaying, carefully remove the kernels that didn’t quite stick to the glue.
  • Then display your paper corn cob piece proudly for all to see!
