I probably sound like a broken record by now – but I seriously love this time of year. That’s probably why I recently came up with this DIY pumpkin frame tutorial to share with you all on Glued To My Crafts. I sure hope you like it as much as I do!
Fall is when I really get in the spirit of things and full-on decorate our house. Since I already have a country theme going on, the fall/pumpkin look really fits in. And I must confess – I like decorating for fall MORE than I do for Christmas. {GASP!} I guess I just love the “warm” colors and rustic look more….
Recently I decided I needed to add some new frames to our fall decor. Since I love displaying our family pictures in our living room & those dollar frames from Michaels are in endless supply – these DIY Pumpkin Frames were instantly born.
With a few swipes of paint and hot glue – I was able to make some one-of-a-kind frames that are a great addition to our home for years to come. Did I mention they are super simple {even for the novice} and make for great gifts too?
Find all the crafty details below! Happy crafting, my dear friends! Don’t forget to share a pictures of your finished pieces on our Facebook page! I love seeing our inspiration come to life!!! #gluedtomycrafts

Wood Pumpkin Frame Craft Supplies:
* Square Wood Frames {Michaels for $1}
* Rectangular Sign {3in x 2in}
* Craft Paint {orange/yellow/green}
* Paint Brushes
* Hot Glue Gun
* Decorative Flowers/Leaves

Directions:
* First paint your frame completely orange. {LOVE the chalky finish} I went ahead and added some yellow lines to give the “pumpkin” some dimension. Once done, set aside to let it dry.
* Grab your rectangular sign and paint it green. This is the stem of the pumpkin. Set aside to let it dry.
* Once your two painted pieces are completely dry, hot glue the stem to the pumpkin frame.
* To finish it off, hot glue a decorative flower & leaves to the front of the frame.
* Display with your favorite pictures inside.

Super simple, right? And of course – these DIY Pumpkin Frames are completely changeable & customizable too! {You could even turn them into apples by changing out the paint colors!}
I also recently turned wooden crates from Michaels, into pumpkins for my front porch too. Check out the Pallet Boxes Turned Pumpkins tutorial today, as well!
