Hi my dear crafty friends! I’m so excited that you landed on our Handmade Give Extra Gum Stocking Stuffer Idea & Free Printable tutorial!
As you already know, the hustle & bustle of the holidays are knocking on our doorsteps.
Well, in my case – kicking down the door and making a grand entrance that is bigger than ever!
If you are like me, you “may” be in a panic to get the perfect gifts out to your special loved ones and friends.
Unfortunately, every year I have the same dilemma. My friends & family can be a bit tricky when it comes to gifts during the holidays. I have a few that are just plain picky. Some that don’t want anything and a few that just have it all – making it nearly impossible to be creative with what I give them. And since they all know I’m the “crafty” one – they don’t exactly expect lavish gifts, but something on the creative side.
So when I was approached to share a fun craft using Wrigley’s Long Lasting, Sugar Free Extra Gum – I instantly thought of a crafty stocking stuffer gift idea. It was something that I knew I could easily give to everyone on my list. Especially since gum is something that everyone likes {hello fresh breath!} and can be enjoyed throughout the year.
Added bonus? I could also give back to the community, by giving some to my husband to take to work & hand out to the base cops.
These minty “gum” inspired gifts are perfect as a stocking stuffer, party favor, small tokens to random strangers or even small gifts for children to share with their classmates. With the free printable I’m sharing today, it’s easy to make these in no time! {No crafty skills required!}
If you would like to recreate this gum stocking stuffer idea, you can find ALL the details below in the full tutorial. The free “give extra” gift tag printable is also listed in the supply listed for you to take advantage of!
And by chance you need any help or have a question about DIY, please comment below or come visit us on our Facebook page. I’m always here for you!
Now I’ll let you get to it! Happy crafting and gifting, my friends! #gluedtomycrafts

After a simple trip to Walmart, I had all the supplies within my gift budget, purchased and ready to be assembled. I personally love the Polar Ice favor but also picked up the flavors Peppermint and Spearmint. Wrigley’s Extra Gum can be found near the checkout or in the candy aisle. {Be sure to snag a mint pack for yourself!}
Here are the supplies I used:

Give Extra Gift Stocking Stuffer Craft Supplies:
* Single Packs of Wrigley Extra Gum {you need ONE gum pack per gift idea}
* 3×4 inch self sealing bags {Found in the jewelry craft aisle}
* Give Extra Gift Tag Printable {Download HERE}
* White Cardstock
* Color Printer
* Decorative Shredded Paper {Optional}
* Large Red Gift Bows
* Clear Tape
* Basic Paper Craft Scissors
* Single Hole Punch

Directions:
1. First things first – print your gift tags on cardstock and cut them out accordingly. You can download the free printable HERE. Then, if desired, punch a hole on the gift tag for your decorative bow. {You can always go the simple route and just add the tag as is to the gift pack}
2. Next, I put some decorative shredded paper and my Extra Gum into each plastic bag – sealing it closed. {The 3×4 bag was the perfect size for one pack of gum}
3. To finish them off the “Give Extra Gifts” I attached my red bow to each gift tag and then taped the tag onto the gift package. And wool-ah! I had a really nice token to give out to people.

So what you do think? Are you going to take the “extra” step to make something clever & special for someone this year? I hope my little tutorial got the wheels spinning and if you do decide to make these, I hope the receiver enjoys them!
I hope you have an EXTRA special holiday this year and enjoy spreading some good cheer!

Hi Connie – unfortunately, right now, this is the only printable I have on our website, along with a valentines day one on a previous post. I’ll keep a summer one in mind though! Have you looked on pinterest for one? I’m sure there is a summer version out there. I’m so sorry! – Stacey
