Do you love coffee?
Have a ton of bananas in your house? Perhaps ones that are frozen?
You all know I always have bananas in our house. I have mentioned it several times already on the blog. We are a banana loving family. (Perhaps because our last name is a type of monkey? Who knows?)
Most-to-all of our smoothies, start with frozen bananas. I prefer using them over ice cubes.
So when our bananas hit a certain color, I freeze them right away and make tons of smoothies afterwards.
And this banana latte is my most recent concoction. It’s great for in the morning or for a pick me up in the afternoon. My husband even gave it two thumbs up!
Plus I have discovered Kefir (which I always joke with my husband it sounds like Jenelle’s mom screaming the boyfriend’s name on Teen Mom 2) You might have seen this yogurt in your grocery store. I like using this stuff for my smoothies now. It’s a lot more liquidy than yogurt, so it’s perfect for smoothies but thicker than milk. It also has great probiotics & other stuff too.
If you don’t want to give it a try, other brands of yogurt work too. You just might get a thicken consistency than I did with this recipe. I also prefer the unsweetened but you could use any flavor you like.
