Kids need a gift idea for someone special this holiday season? Or maybe you just want to create a one-a-kind piece with your child that can be treasured for years to come? Well – you are in the right place then because today’s Thumbprint Snowman Frame gift idea is sure to be a real winner and it won’t break the bank either!
Using an inexpensive $1 wood frame I found at Walmart and some white craft paint, we were able to create an awesome “snowy themed” piece that I know I will be proud to display – year after year!
So what are you waiting for? You can make this grand “chilly” piece with your child too! Find the full tutorial below. Happy crafting this holiday season, my friends!!!
* Wooden Craft Frame
* White Craft Paint
* Small Paper Plate
* Black/Orange Sharpie Paint Pens
* First squirt some white craft paint on a paper plate. Have children press their thumb in the paint, then press it down on the wood craft piece. Repeat all over the frame until you have a look you like.
* Finish off your Thumbprint Snowman Frame by drawing on some eyes, carrot noses and black hats with Sharpie paint pens. Then add other embellishments you see fit before displaying and gifting away!
