I originally wanted to share this tutorial during Valentine’s Day week, but time did not permit it. So I’m sharing it today since I think this would be perfect for upcoming Easter baskets.
They are simple to make and cheap. I already play nurse with ours and it seems to make the boo-boos better for my lil man.
For boo boos that need some ice, store these in the freezer. For the boo-boos who need warmth, microwave them in the microwave for a few seconds.
Check out the “How To” below. I even added a little poem to go with it if you choose to gift it. Just right click and save.
Supplies- All you need is felt, pinking shears, thread & rice.
First you want to cut out a heart shape out of paper for your pattern. Once that is done, use a sharpie to trace your design. Cut out with pinking shears.
Then using a needle & thread, stitch the two pieces of felt together. But make sure to leave an opening so you can pour in your rice.
Fill your pak with about 3/4 of uncooked rice. Now stitch the pak completely closed.
And you are done! The nice thing about this craft is that you don’t have create a heart shape for it . You can do a bunny for Easter, a flower, a bear….the possibilities are really endless.
And before I forget, here is the poem.
Would love to see your creations if you decide to create these!
Have a great weekend yall!
